Search for automotive BDC companies and you'll find providers that sound alike on the surface and work very differently underneath. One leads with AI, another with US-based agents, another with a price table, and each describes coverage, staffing and reporting in its own terms.
This guide compares ten of them, Ombracol included, on the same seven points: what they handle, how people and AI share the work, language support, staffing, CRM workflow, reporting and published pricing.
Here's where we stand. Ombracol gives your dealership a dedicated team of English- and Spanish-speaking agents who work your calls and leads inside your CRM during the hours you agree with us, with AI-assisted coverage after hours, weekly QA and reporting, and a commitment to launch within two weeks. If that's the kind of BDC you're looking for, read on: we explain the details in Why choose Ombracol? below.
Where a provider's pages that we reviewed don't establish a point, we write “not publicly specified.” That doesn't mean the provider lacks the capability, only that we couldn't confirm it from its public pages. Offerings and prices change, so confirm current details with each provider.

Managed BDC, AI tools and hybrid services
These providers sell different things under the same “BDC” label. Three broad models are worth separating before you compare names:
- Managed human BDC. Trained agents answer calls and work leads for your store, usually inside your CRM, under the provider's hiring, scheduling and quality control. You're buying people and management, not just software.
- AI tools. Software that answers calls, texts or chats, replies to new leads, or scores conversations. It can cover nights and volume spikes, but it isn't a staffed team, and its handoff to a person matters.
- Hybrid services. People and AI split the work: for example, agents during staffed hours and AI after hours, or AI handling first response and routing while agents hold the conversations.
Most providers below offer some mix. The useful questions are which work a person does, during which hours, and what happens at the handoff. If you're still deciding whether to outsource at all, start with our in-house vs. outsourced BDC comparison.

In the Outsourced BDC Agents tables, $595 a month buys the “Hot Lead (1 Day)” tier, one day of follow-up, at a volume of 100 leads or ROs. The same 100-lead volume on the “Full Service (30+ Days)” tier is $1,995 a month. AI packages start at $305 a month and à la carte services at $200 a month. These are volume-based package prices. They aren't the cost of a full-time dedicated agent and shouldn't be compared with a dedicated staffing quote as if they were the same scope. Discounts, bundles and group pricing change the totals.

Why choose Ombracol?
Every provider above offers ways to handle your calls and leads. What we focus on is the operating model behind that work: who your customers talk to, when a person is on the line, where the work is recorded, and what you can check each week. Here's how our model works and what it means for your store.
Dedicated bilingual agents, with any staffing changes confirmed with you first
Your account is worked by agents who speak English and Spanish and are assigned to your store, and we confirm any change to that team with you before it happens. That continuity matters. The people working your leads learn your models, current incentives and processes during setup, and they keep that knowledge because they stay on your account. Spanish-speaking customers can be helped in Spanish by the same team that knows your store.
A nearshore team on US business hours
Ombracol Communications LLC is registered in Virginia and serves US automotive dealerships remotely. Ombracol S.A.S. operates the bilingual BDC team in Pereira, Colombia. Pereira's time zone lines up with US business hours, so your agents are working during your day. More on the team in our Colombia BDC overview.
People on your agreed hours, AI-assisted after hours
Human agents cover the hours we agree with you. Outside those hours, coverage is AI-assisted, so after-hours callers don't simply roll to voicemail. Your proposal spells out which hours are staffed by people, so you know exactly what you're buying.
Inside your CRM, with ADF/XML lead workflows
Agents work inside your CRM rather than a separate spreadsheet, so calls, notes and appointments are where your sales floor and service drive already look. We support ADF/XML lead workflows, the format many dealer CRMs use for leads, and the specific connection for your CRM is confirmed during onboarding.
Analise behind every agent
Analise, our AI assistant, supports lead scoring so agents work the most promising leads first, gives them CRM context when a lead opens, helps when an agent asks for it, and runs automated call QA. It supports our people; it doesn't replace them. See how it fits on our platform page.
Weekly QA and reporting you can check
Every week you get QA and reporting on the work done for your store. You can see what happened on your account without having to ask for it, which makes it easier to hold us to what we agreed.
Live within two weeks, on an agreed scope
We commit to launching within two weeks. Before we start, we agree the staffing, coverage hours and scope with you, rather than offering a vague promise to “handle your leads.” Clear responsibilities on both sides mean fewer surprises after go-live. See our services for what that scope can include.
Ombracol is a strong fit when…
…you want a dedicated bilingual team rather than a shared pool, you serve English- and Spanish-speaking customers, you value continuity in who represents your store, and you want a weekly view of what's being done. If you mainly want AI-only coverage, a short campaign, or agents physically based in the US, other providers in this guide describe those offerings, and they may suit you better.
Questions that make quotes comparable
Published pricing is rare, and the prices that are published use different units. Before comparing quotes, ask every provider, including us, the same questions so you're pricing the same scope:
- Unit of price: is it per agent, per lead or RO, per call, per hour of coverage, or a package? What happens when volume exceeds the package?
- Staffed hours: which hours are covered by a person, and which by AI or voicemail?
- Who works my account: dedicated agents or a shared pool? Where are they based, and will you tell me before they change?
- Language: which languages are available on every shift, not just on request?
- Follow-up length: how many attempts, over how many days, on which channels?
- CRM: do agents work inside my CRM, and how do leads reach them (for example, ADF/XML)? Who sets that up?
- Reporting and QA: what do I receive, how often, and can I hear any call?
- Terms: contract length, setup fees, notice period and launch date.
Our guide to choosing an automotive BDC partner covers these questions in more depth, including red flags to watch for.
This comparison is published by Ombracol, which is included among the providers. It is based on publicly available information reviewed on October 12, 2026, not hands-on testing or independently verified provider results.
Tell us what coverage your store needs
Bring your call volume, lead sources, the hours you need covered, and how much of your traffic comes in Spanish. On a 20-minute discovery call we'll answer every question above for Ombracol, then send you a proposal with the staffing, coverage hours and scope we'd commit to for your dealership.
